Warehouse types offered

Nebula offers many different types of warehousing options to suit any requirement

A field warehouse can also be referred to as a satellite warehouse. It allows businesses to store goods closer to their customer base.

Designed to quickly transfer goods from inbound to outbound shipments while minimising the need for long-term storage. When goods arrive, they are quickly unloaded, sorted and reorganised to accommodate orders.

Storage silos are structures designed to store grain and other materials in bulk.

Privately owned or government-owned buildings, typically located in a foreign country, where imported dutiable goods are stored, manipulated or undergo manufacturing operations free from the payment of duty.

A strategic approach to managing materials, components and supplies directly at the pro- duction line to ensure a seamless flow of materials, minimising down-time and maximising efficiency.

A type of warehouse facility in which the goods are left temporarily and which is equipped in such a way that it only serves for the rapid receipt and despatch of goods, since the final destination is another warehouse or point of sale.

A shared warehouse (also known as a multi-client ware-house) is a single warehouse that operates as a DC supporting multiple businesses.

E-commerce is the trading of goods and services online. The Internet allows individuals and businesses to buy and sell an increasing amount of physical goods, digital goods and services electronically

Dedicated warehousing is the outsourced management of warehousing operations, typically in a larger scale facility, with all labour, value-added services, operational processes, technology and square metreage dedicated to a single tenant.

Choosing the correct warehouse type is important to optimise inventory management and order fulfilment, maintain a competitive edge and improve customer satisfaction
